Ceramic Fiber Blankets Description:

Withstand high temperatures: Our ceramic fiber insulation blankets can withstand direct flames, continuous use at 2200 ℉, and intermittent use at 2400 ℉. They will begin to shrink above 2400 ℉, become brittle, and eventually melt at 3200 ℉.

Excellent thermal conductivity: The R-value is approximately 2.5 per inch. For instance, with a 1000 ℉ hot face and 1" of insulation, the cold face temperature will be around 220 ℉.

Easy installation: You can use mechanical fastening or high-temperature adhesives such as sodium silicate, refractory cement, or RTV silicone for installation.

High quality: Our blankets are made from premium 8lb density ceramic fiber, ensuring high insulating value, strength, and durability. They are proudly made in the USA.

Chemical composition: The blankets consist of 46% alumina, 54% silica, and less than 1% impurities.

DANGER: All ceramic fiber products come with a hazard communication warning label and Prop 65 warning for airborne fiber inhalation. Prolonged exposure to ceramic fiber dust may cause cancer and lung damage. It can also lead to skin and eye irritation.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES: When handling ceramic fiber, use protective gloves, safety glasses, and long sleeve clothing. Avoid creating airborne dust and clean the work area frequently with a HEPA filtered vacuum or wet sweeping. Do not use compressed air for clean-up and wear an approved respirator mask if necessary.
